I have had countless brides try to describe to me the perfect color they are searching for….and I can only begin to tell you how many times that most amazing shade of purple is still really just purple! No matter what you call it, it’s purple!!
So, I always share with my brides this tip: Bring me a sample….it can be a purple crayon, a purple piece of paper, ribbon, or a paint chip from a home improvement store. Whatever it is, find something in that color and we will do our very best to make sure we match it.

Often times we have brides call and are unsure what they need to bring to their wedding flower consultation. Here is a list to hep get you organized and help insure your wedding consultation be productive. Remember, it is always better to bring too much than not enough!
~Brides Name, phone number, and email
~Grooms Name, phone number, and email
~Date/time of events.
~Address and directions to event locations.
~Number participating in wedding party (how many mothers? fathers? groomsmen? bridesmaids? grandparents?)
~Numbers of pews in church
~Numbers of arrangements needed at ceremony site
~Numbers of tables for centerpieces
~Numbers of misc. arrangements for sign in tables, entry, bathroom counters, bar

Rachel,The flowers were absolutely beautiful! Exactly what i’d envisioned for our wedding; romantic and bright but with a quirky edge. I couldn’t have asked for more. I just ran across an incredible florist located in NYC. His name his Michael George and he has a shop called “Hybrid.” I absolutely LOVE his work! I think I am drawn to his style because it reflects much of my own personal style.
Located on his website is a series of videos he has done with Martha Stewart. Each video is just a few minutes long, easy to view, provides a demonstration of a project, as well helpful tips, supplies, and creative ways to use fresh flowers.
In between providing for many A-list celebrities, and filming for Martha Stewart Living, Michael George works in his shop with his wife.
