Your brother can sit down after he answers the question “who gives this bride?”. He can get up again if there are other duites, like lighting the unity candle or whatever. Will your father be attending? Either way, your brother should sit next to his wife on the front row. It would normally go like this, starting from the center (aisle side), father of the bride, mother of the bride, grandparents, siblings and their families. Just omit anyone who is not attending, so if your father and grandparents won’t be there, then it would be mother of the bride, your brother, his wife, their children, then any other sibling, etc. Depending on your venue, there may not be enough room on the front row for all of the immediate family. They would then site in the second row.
i would say he can sit down i would give him a chair as close to the middle of the aisle as possible so he can easily get up for other duties
I would suggest that you have a seat for your brother and his wife in the front (near your parent’s seats). I’m sure his wife would want to be seated with him. Since he’s giving you away, he’ll have a seat after the pastor says “who gives this woman…..”.
