I reckon your dresses should be bright as well, to compliment the flowers. I am using tons of orange and yellow flowers and my girl’s dresses are Baja blue, which is a bright, right turquoise blue. It looks incredible with all the bright colors. Why detract from the flowers by pairing them with dull, dark dresses? Go with a nice, bright color, not black or brown or tan. Blah! You have fantastic taste in flower color, why not pull that through the entire ensemble?

    Excellent luck!

I don’t reckon the dresses should be brown especially if your going with bright flowers. The brown I believe would be a downer on your bright color scheme. If your worried about taking away from the flowers use a light pink or lavender for your girls dresses and guys ties and/or vest. The light pink or lavender would be elegant and cute. The colors would also work nicely with your bright flowers but not take any of their spotlight.

Have everyone wear plaid. It will look so cool!

I have always loved the thought of black bridesmaid dresses. Just tell each bridesmaid to pick out a black dress of her choice (thus reducing your stress and allowing your bridesmaids to choose something in their style and price range). The girls will be thrilled to wear a bridesmaid dress they will really be able to re-wear, and the colorful flowers will pop against the black background.

If you do brown, make sure it’s a deep chocolate brown. Pinks and fuscias look GREAT with brown, and so does light blue.

A friend of mine place all her bridesmaids in navy blue dresses with multi-colored bouquets and hot-pink high heeled shoes. They looked really classy and fun!

Black or Chocolate Brown. We had brown in my wedding and the flowers were incredible against the material. Black is such a classic color, you can never go incorrect with that either.

Please, don’t do brown! I’m so sick of brown.

My girls wore turquoise dresses and carried bright pink bouquets. They all looked so tropical and gorgeous.

I say a mild shade of green. Then the flowers will just pop.
