I need to find out some information about style//fashion/dress in China…if you know any of these answers, please help me out! :)

What are some popular styles of clothing ?
What is considered “casual” wear?

Do you still wear the clothes you wore in China, or did you change your style once you came over here?

    What are some popular styles of clothing ?
    Similar to USA, blue jeans, dress casual, but some men wear pants that are too big at the waist and hold them up with a belt. Thus when the police catch a criminal, they take off the man’s belt. He cannot run because his pants would fall down.

    What is considered “casual” wear? More formal than USA. I returned to the US and was taken back to see how sloppy people in the US dress by comparison.

    Are trends important to you? In general? Not too much, I like dress casual.

    Do you still wear the clothes you wore in China, or did you change your style once you came over here? I am now dressing, alas, more casual. More t shirts in USA,

    What is an accessory worn in China, but not America? Not sure.

    Do you miss the styles in China? Yes, I love the Chinese buttons and collars.

    Do the schools mainly have uniforms, or are they casual wear?
    Uniforms.

    Is it popular to read fashion magazines? Yes, very much so.

    Do teenagers spend a lot of money on clothes? Teenagers do not have a lot of money to spend.

    Are the clothes you wear a way of expressing yourself? Maybe, I like to dress nice, clean, professionally, but don’t like the tie or coat.

    Is it important to be well-dressed? Yes, especially in China.

    Which is more important when buying clothes: Quality or the Fashion Appeal? Both, but quality more.

    Are your apparel selections strongly influenced by clothing worn by friends or celebrities? No, I don’t think so.

    What color is a traditional wedding dress? Red in China. (White is worn to funerals. )

    Is it bad luck if your fiance sees it before the wedding? No. On the contrary, The groom will go to pick up the bride. You can seen their procession riding down the streets, a line of expensive cars with the bride and groom in front. The bride and grooms car is decorated with flowers.

    Is it proper to wear all black to a fune… No, white is the preferred color, I think.
