Your wedding can be “themed”, as you say, but even though you and he like these many things, you don’t necessarily have to showcase all of your leisure activities, etc at your wedding! Your cjildren can be the bridal party , andif you want a vibrant wedding, just pick some bold colors, like purple, smoky grey, and other very intense colors-

Sure have the wedding out doors. Have your sons walk you down the aisle. Have a kids table with cards and coloring stuff. Make some decorations with white Bowling balls and footballs, hang them in the tress coming down. Dress your dogs in white. I haven’t seen the movie 300 but why not make the invitation that theme or the small center pieces.
You have a lot of time.
    Have fun plotting.
    Excellent Luck and Congrats

these are lots of themes to incorparate into a wedding, so why not use each as a theme for a table, instead of a table number? One could have car modles for the center, one miniture bowling pins, one footballs, one with movie reels and popcorn buckets?Place photos of you, your fiance, and your kids enjoying each activity at its designated table

No offense..but your wedding is going to turn into a huge hot mess if you try to incorporate all these things. That’s a LOT to have at a wedding. Why do you want all his leisure activities showcased at a wedding? I mean, I assume the people you are inviting know you and your fiance, what does him liking football have to do with getting married? You really don’t need to add the movie into it at all. Telling people where/how you got engaged should cover it. I would but incorporate your children into the wedding, maybe as a flower girl and ring bearer..that would be sweet. Maybe have the baker place the bride and groom on the top layer, with a boy and girl figure on the other layers (and even the 2 dogs on another layer). The whole leisure activity thing just makes no sense.

THIS IS YOUR WEDDING! Listen to all the advise and then do what you want. Make it memorable. Make it fun. Make it you. Involve the kids.

Have a costume wedding with a 300 theme.
Play your favorite games a the reception.
Have your pets be honorary ring bearers or flower girls and walk down the aisle.
I’ve been to weddings that were bold mulit-color events…blue, red, yellow, green, and purple flowers and decore.
If you like it, do it.
Don’t worry about what anyone else says, it’s YOUR wedding!

When it comes to incorperating all of the themes you are looking for you can use the dress styles of the time period the movie was set in. That way the girls will be cool and even you would look just as gorgeous. Adding children and pets into the wedding is always a cute thing to do especialy when those are your own. adding your children they can either be flowergirl and ring bearer that way they are part of the wedding party and adding the dogs would be cute even if someone walks them and has them sitting near the entire wedding part at the front of the church.
So colors would be another guess that would be excellent depending on what your thinking of. If your wanting to incorperate your future husbands sports likes, I’d say try cakes and at the reception that way it would be a fantastic party and you’d get to celebrate all parts of your lives.

    excellent luck

Yes, your thinking is off. Look, you’ve got kids, so just get married simply and quietly, minimum of fuss and bother and themes and no huge white dress, etc. Just get a jp or go to the courthouse and have family and close friends to your home for a small meal after.

To be honest, you two have kids, and THAT should be the focus of the wedding…your family officially coming together.

While it may seem cool in your newly engaged excitement to do a movie themed wedding, it may not look so fantastic 20 years down the road, or to your 60 year ancient aunts.

Don’t try to incorporate leisure activities into your wedding, unless there is some actual REASON to (i.e. you are having your wedding at the Country Club where you both met riding horses). What you CAN do is make personalized playing cards that you can give out to guests as favours.

Pets are usually not such a fantastic thought at weddings, but some people insist and manage to pull it off. You could also just give a small donation to a local animal shelter on behalf of your guests, and let them know.

I would keep it sweet and simple.

HOWEVER, if you have some money, are willing to place in the time and effort, and you reckon your family won’t mind, you CAN plot a themed wedding. Many couples who are into medieval themes have such weddings, so you could in theory have a “300″ themed wedding. To do it right and not tacky though, you would need to rent costumes for your wedding attire, have horses to ride in on, have it speciality catered (outdoor BBQ) and decorated (including medieval dishes), and hire muscians able to play the harp and flute, etc. With this, you need to go all out or forget it. Also, it usually only works if the couple really has an interest in this genre.

Do what you want, but I would have a small, family oreinted wedding.

    Excellent luck!
