Roses(silent common though), jasmines, tulips, poppies (no offence because this is associated with drugs).

I have a pretty limited budget for my wedding. I poked around online to get thoughts of what i wanted. This is a pic of my bouquet and the colors i went with. I like gerber daisies. So i kept it simple. Its really been pretty fun to make the bouquets myself.

I reckon of two flowers for weddings when it comes to light pink and light purple: Orchids, and mini calla lilies.

Pink Cymbidum and/or Mokara orchids – see http://www.wholeblossoms.com/9-wholesale-orchids.html

Pink and Purple Mini Calla lilies – see http://www.wholeblossoms.com/51-wholesale-calla-lilies-mini.html

I was thinking the violet hyacinth flower could be a excellent match, too – http://www.wholeblossoms.com/34-wholesale-hyacinths.html

    Excellent luck!

Symbolically or flowers that hold up or are you just trying to match your color scheme?

Most flowers come in light pink and light purple. No problem there. My favorite wedding flowers are roses, orchids, stephenotis, plumeria, pikake and gardenias. If you are worried about the flowers not holding up, for instance if they are going to be done a couple days in advance, use orchids. Orchids really last. Carnations last quite a while too. The new roses that come out of Ecuador last much longer for some reason than hybrid tea roses used to last.

If you are looking for symbolism, why not orchids with calla lilies or better yet orchids and anthuriums? Reckon Georgia O’Keeffe.

I like gerbera daisies and lillies of the valley and I’m quickly becoming a fan of colored Calla Lilies. Maybe for your wedding, although it depends on the season, you could go with lavender, roses, daisies, lilies, cherry blossom, mums, Zinnias.

I used carnations for my wedding. Not only are they my favorite flower, but they come in a variety of colors and are are inexpensive! I reckon they are gorgeous.

My colors were light blue and pink. All of my flowers were pink and white carnations and I reckon it was gorgeous!
