Second, there are many ways to place flowers on a tiered cake.
*Cut the stems small and lay them on top of the tier around the outside.
*Stick the stems, cut small, into the icing making a pattern around the cake. You will want to use thin stemmed flowers, such as daisies or orchids, so they don’t weigh down and pull on the cake.
*Cut a circle out of wax paper. Use a small piece of Oasis floral foam and arrange the flowers in the foam. Place the oasis on the top of the wax paper in between the layers of the cake.
