they go a lot with my style so i like this season’s fashion. i will dress like a rocker at night, bohemian by day and country on the weekends and that is a very simple style to fix anyone’s wardrobe
Well, honestly, I doubt the plaid shirts are gonna stay in for the entire season. Besides, they’re only in thanks to Mary-Kate, who’s been seen sporting them since, I dunno, I reckon since July. I like the look and all, but I wouldn’t wear it when the season reaches the halfway mark.
As for the tartan look, I like it, but I’m worried that a lot women are going to take the school girl look to far. I mean, it looked all fine and dandy on Gossip Girl, but it just doesn’t work that way in real life unless you really go to catholic school.
The Bohemian looks is fantastic, not my style, but it’s fascinating to look at.
And the “goth” look as you call it, is fantastic also, very edgy. A lot of the models wore black lipstick, I believe for the YSL show, (I can’t remember for sure) and it looked just so edgy.
So overall, the 08 trends are just okay.
Oh and you forgot the purple accessories trend! And grunge is coming back! D&G released black and red skinny pants back in August and Alexander Mcqueen helped bring back 80′s glam with his shimmery, sequined leggings. Even converses is bringing back the 80′s with their sequined, $90 low tops.
But, my all time favorite style of this season is the tuxedo jacket with the party dress and a clutch.
I would also like to add that oversized coats aren’t in; double breasted trapeze coats are.

They are a rehash of stuff I’ve seen before. Tartan comes in every autumn because of the whole schoolgirl look during back-to-school season. Bohemian has been well loved for several years now, and goth never really goes out of style, but it’s been mainstream since about 2006, when Chanel Black Satin became well loved.
Skinnies make stout people look fatter, Uggs still aren’t practical for snowy days, and oversized coats have always had their place in northeastern winters.
I want to see a real fad come about, like Hammer Pants did in the 80s.

i like the checked shirt trend for boys, especially if they roll up the sleeves to the elbows and wear the top two buttons open and wear it with skinny but not TOO tight grey or bue jeans.
the only trend i like is checks, other trend don’t appeal to me very much

As much as i like these clothes if i was caught wearing them id get beat up! Noone wears anything other than scrubs and hollister shirts. i despise the style in our school, i wish we could dress like that. Cuz i saw stuff that was cheap that looked cool but i could never be caught wearing it in school
