you usually buy a gift for the shower, and give money at the wedding. You don’t see a lot of actual gifts at the wedding.

A small gift for the shower and a larger (more expensive) gift for the wedding.

  3. Sophiesmama says:

yes, a smaller gift for the shower, like towels, kitchen items or picture frames, etc and then a larger gift for the wedding. If she is registered, by a lesser expensive item for the shower and a small more for the wedding gift.

a bridal shower gift is something just for the bride herself. a wedding gift on the other hand is for both the bride and the groom and is usually something that is useful around or in the house itself. the gift for just the bride is usually not too expensive while the wedding gift can be.
