How did the pictures come out? Were they on time to the event? Were they professional? Were there any problems? How long did it take to get your pictures after the wedding? Was he/she simple to get a hold of?

Well question them if they were satisfied. See if there is anything they were miserable about, and find out what they were pleased and miserable about, because something they like might be something you despise. (Imagine if someone said “oh, I like the photographer”, and it turns out that they loved the fact that the photographer got the right picture every time, even if it meant interferring with the guests). Find out if there were any surprises. (i.e. the photos were late).

Just find out what sort of work the photographer did.

Any more details will depend on what you care about from the photographer.

    Fantastic question!

    I would question them:
*What was the best thing about working with the photographer?
    *What was the worst thing?
    *How was the customer service?
*Did the photog keep his/her word on policies, turn around times, etc.
*Were they simple to get ahold of?
*Did the photographs of their wedding hold up to his/her samples, or their expectations?
*What would they change if they could about their experience?
    *Would they recommend this photographer?

    Best of luck!
