I’m getting married in Ohio in March (which is the tail end of our winter). We want real flowers, and our colors are blue and white. Are there any pretty flowers in season at that time that we could use?

Calla Lilly’s
Wedding flowers are grown year round in a hot house at a florist so any type is available usually
Daffodils, daisies…..or lavender is always good for spring. You might have to get them from farther south, but here in Texas (and also Louisianna) the dutch Iris & Louisianna Iris are in bloom…beautiful.
the link below has flowers for every month listed for weddings.
I’m not sure exactly when they are in season, but we are using Calla Lilies in our July Ohio wedding! We were told the smaller ones are available year round and the large ones are available in Ohio in the Spring and Summer!
Congratulations and good luck!
carnations, i think they are always in season.you can use them in all the bouquets and boutanieres, they come in blue, white, and a mixed color. you could also do blue carnations and white roses
AND there are blue roses. they may be a little more pricey but i bet that would be gorgeous with blue and white roses
congratulations!
Hello, hope this answers your question. Depending on the shade of blue you will be wearing, Russian violets are in season and the color could compliment your blue, Make a trip to the florist and ask them to show you the picture in their catalog. After seeing them you can make a judgment as to whether they would be complimentary or not,
ROSES…ROSES…ROSES!
Depends on what you are willing to spend, any flower can be in season for the right price. You might think about white roses or calalillies. They are both good year round.
